Pada user profil, ditampilkan data-data MSN, YM, Jabber dan AIM. Tapi data-data itu saat ini kurang begitu terpakai kan? Nah, mari kita ganti saja dengan Facebook, Twitter dan Koprol misalnya.
Caranya sangat gampang. Tinggal masukkan kode ini di file functions.php themes WordPress yang anda pakai sekarang:
function extra_contact_info($contactmethods) {
unset($contactmethods['aim']);
unset($contactmethods['yim']);
unset($contactmethods['jabber']);
$contactmethods['facebook'] = 'Facebook';
$contactmethods['twitter'] = 'Twitter';
$contactmethods['koprol'] = 'Koprol';
return $contactmethods;
}
add_filter('user_contactmethods', 'extra_contact_info');
Kode diatas akan menghilangkan kotak isian untuk aim, ym dan jabber serta menggantinya dengan kotak isian facebook, twitter dan koprol. Untuk menampilkannya di theme, anda tinggal pasang kode ini:
Facebook Twitter Koprol
Bagi yang belum tahu bagaimana membuat halaman profil author, mudah saja. Anda tinggal memasukkan sebuah file baru dengan nama author.php di themes yang anda pakai. Contoh isi dan keterangan lainnya bisa dilihat disini:
