Rilis Kandidat pertama dari WordPress 3.1 sekarang sudah tersedia.
RC hadir setelah periode Beta dan sebelum final rilis. Artinya pekerjaan pembangunan sudah selesai, tidak ada issue yang diketahui dan semua bug sudah diperbaiki. Tapi dengan 10 juta pengguna dengan beragam konfigurasi dan ribuan plugin, maka sangat dimungkinkan ada yang terlewat. Jadi, jika anda belum mengujinya di WP 3.1, sekaranglah saatnya. Tapi ingat, jangan di blog yang berjalan kecuali anda punya kemampuan tingkat mahir.
Dengan 700 tiket yang ditutup, ada begitu banyak perubahan. Ujilah plugin dan tema anda sekarang. Sehingga jika ada ketidakcocokan, bisa segera disesuaikan sebelum versi final dirilis.
Pengguna juga perlu mencoba. Jika ada masalah, laporkan kepada pengembangnya agar segera diperbaiki.

- Kirim ke Alpha/Beta area in the support forums
- Laporkan ke wp-testers mailing list
- gabung dengan IRC dan katakan langsung di irc.freenode.net #wordpress-dev
- Buat tiket di WordPress Trac
