Tak lama lagi (diperkirakan akhir tahun ini) akan ada upgrade mayor lagi yaitu WordPress 3.5. Ada banyak perubahan sepertinya di versi yang baru ini. Yang paling mencolok nanti adalah Link Manager yang biasa kita lihat di sidebar panel admin, akan lenyap. Jadi, jika ingin tetap memiliki link manager, kita harus menggunakan plugin khusus.
Selain itu yang cukup memudahkan adalah jika kita menandai sebuah plugin sebagai favorit di wordpress.org, maka nanti kita bisa menginstall-nya di semua blog kita dengan mudah tanpa harus mencari-cari lagi satu per satu.
Opsi XMLRPC juga secara otomatis dihidupkan sehingga tak perlu bingung setting XMLRPC lagi jika kita ingin nge-blog menggunakan aneka gadget yang kita miliki.
Dan yang sudah bisa langsung kita nikmati saat ini adalah theme responsible Twenty Twelve sebagaimana kita lihat di blog ini. Saya baru saja mengubahnya menjadi theme Twenty Twelve. Cukup keren dan yang asik bisa dibuka di gadget apapun mulai ipad, iphone, blackberry, dll tanpa merusak tampilannya.
Masih banyak yang perlu dijelajahi lagi.. main-main dulu yaa

Kalau pakai theme ini themenya seringan dan sesimple ini, jadi malas pakai theme yang lain.
Alhamdulillah… akhirnya solusi buat web baru (sekolah kami) ketemu disini. Yaitu hilangnya link manager pada wp 3.5. Pdhl sblx fine2 sj. Eeeeeh… ternyata hrs pake plugin tersendiri. Makasih infonya.
